Complete Water and Gas Systems OUT OF GAS POLICY A mandatory service charge of $50.00 will be applied to all off route and c.o.d. customers.  All money must be collected by the office or the driver up front for all c.o.d. customers. All off route customers who are not c.o.d. may apply the service charge to their account.  This charge is to cover the time and labor involved in performing a pressure test and inspection to the complete gas system. The customer must be at home to sign off on this inspection.  A time slot will be assigned that is agreeable by the driver and customer.  This time slot should be arranged up front by office personnel.  If the customer fails to be at home then we will not gas the system.  There will be a full refund for gas, but no refund for the service charge.  We will not go back a second time!  All drivers have the right to refuse service to any gas system they deem unsafe.  If a system is deemed unsafe then a full refund for the gas and the service charge will be issued. SAME DAY SERVICE POLICY Any off route or c.o.d. customer that calls may request same day service, but will be charged a $50.00 same day service charge.  All customers are now required to call with 10% or more gas in their tank to avoid the same day service charge.  If the customer insists they do not need same day service then we will only guarantee a delivery within the next 48 hours (weekends excluded).  If the driver arrives and the tank is out of gas then a $50 out of gas service charge will be applied.  All money must be collected by the office or the driver up front for all c.o.d. customers. All off route customers who are not c.o.d. may apply the service charge to their account. PRICE STRUCTURE OF OUR PROPANE DELIVERY SYSTEM McDonald & Hill will have three (3) separate prices for residential propane customers.  These three prices will be categorized as the following: (1) Route Price, (2) Off-Route Price, and (3) C.O.D. Price. Route – McDonald & Hill takes full responsibility of checking the percentage of gas in the tank while working your particular route.  The gas delivery driver pumps gas on an “as needed” basis to ensure the customer does not run out of gas.  Each driver is normally able to complete all route customers within a four (4) week period. Off-Route – The customer takes full responsibility for updating McDonald & Hill on the percentage of gas in the tank and will not be checked by a gas driver.  The customer will only be guaranteed gas delivery within a 48 hour time period (weekends excluded) from the time that the gas is ordered.  Reasons you are Off- Route include: Call to check price, Locked gate, Bad dog, Past due on your account, Personal preference to call, etc. C.O.D. – Cash on Delivery.  The same details as Off-Route apply, but all gas must be paid for before the delivery can be made.  All payments must be made at our office unless the driver agrees to accept payment at the customer’s home. Reasons you are C.O.D. include: Rejected credit application, Poor payment history on account, Renter, etc. NEED HELP WITH YOUR GAS BILL? We realize that it is difficult for you to pay all of your gas bills for the year.  Although we have a budget program to lower your bills into one monthly payment, there are still other alternatives that you can use to help out.  Our local Multi-County (MCCSA) agency is a government agency that assists people with payments towards their energy bills.  You may qualify for the assistance you need.  Call their office today to set up an appointment.  Their local phone number is 601-483-4838. This is just helpful information that we thought you would like to know.  We appreciate your business and thank you for allowing us to serve all of your propane needs.
